Wealden College was founded in 1987 by its Principal, Joanna Beazley Richards and has an established track record of developing highly skilled people since that time.
Our counselling training has been accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) since 1994.
Located in the East Sussex town of Crowborough, our courses take place at 2 Quarry View in Whitehill Road. Our venue offers a relaxed and comfortable learning environment for all of our courses. Nearby, is the Institute’s Soil Association registered organic farm and this is available for learning about therapeutic work with our animals.
Attendance at Open Evenings is free of charge
There is no need to make an appointment to attend an open evening, but it would be helpful if you could let us know beforehand if you are planning to attend.
Individual appointments on other days are readily available by arrangement; please feel free to contact our office to make an appointment.
Taster days are an opportunity for you to get a feel for Wealden College as well as an introduction to the counselling and psychotherapy professions. They are an opportunity to ask the questions you have always wanted to ask and never had the chance, whether this is about the therapy professions, or more specifically about the various training courses and workshops we offer at Wealden College.
Taster days are from 11am to 4pm, with a lunch break around 1pm.
