Coaching has been described as a way of working with groups or individuals with the purpose of achieving development and change.

It is an action and goal orientated process that uses an approach and skills that can be used in any setting, for example to facilitate personal growth, or work related development. It encourages empowerment, stimulates high levels of motivation, and enables people to acquire the skills needed for achievement of their goals.

Coaching helps people to shift their assumptions, perceptions and beliefs of what is possible for them. Clients come to coaching when they want to expand their personal development and achievements, or when they feel stuck or at a major time of decision.

This course will teach participants the process of coaching, and enable them to achieve the basic skills involved.
