The Forensic Therapists Association (FTA) is a group of counsellors, psychotherapists and counselling psychologists who have come together to: 
- Promote the aims, values and practice of talking therapies with forensic clients.
- Facilitate high quality training and Ongoing Professional Development.
- Raise awareness of psychological processes and their effects through research and information.
- Provide a voice for practitioners and a hub where we can come together, support and debate with each other and the wider community.

The Institute of Transactional Analysis (ITA) is the 'umbrella' organisation bringing together the Transactional Analysis training Institutes in the UK, including the Wealden Psychology Institute, offering information and support to its members, and organising the examinations. The ITA is a member organisation of the European Association of Transactional Analysis (EATA). The ITA is also a member organisation of the Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy Section of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). Thus, students who have completed their training and passed their examination under the auspices of the ITA automatically receive accreditation by the UKCP.

The Trauma Clinic at Wealden Psychology Institute is linked to The Trauma Centre in South Africa, which works with victims of abuse, torture or violence. Wealden Institute offers EMDR Therapy as one of the models used to help victims of PTSD, as well as many other difficulties. We also offer EMDR training. Wealden Psychology Institute has a long-standing association with the National Organization for the Treatmtent of Abusers (NOTA) which is a membership organization working to develop good practice across Britain and Ireland with those working in the field of sexual agression.

The Diploma in Counselling course run by Wealden Psychology Institute is accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). Students who complete the course and pass the exam are automaticaly accredited counsellors.

Wealden Psychology Institute has close cooperation with a number of local service providers including the Counselling service in Crowborough and the French Language Consultants in Crowborough for training in the French language, and translation of documents.

The Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA) is a recognized provider of training in Equine Assisted learning and therapy. Wealden Institute offers EAP as one of its modalities of treatment.

The European College of Bowen Studies: (E.C.B.S.) is one of the principal training institutes for Bowen Technique Therapy. Wealden Institute has one member of staff who is fully trained in this technique.

Wealden Institute (France) has an association with The Alive Centre (France).
